HISTORY
For
over 20 years, Bioscience, Inc., has developed specialized,
naturally-occurring microbial cultures and put them to work on some of
the most difficult waste treatment problems. Our
initial focus was on improving the treatment of difficult, variable and
potentially toxic industrial wastewaters from chemical, petroleum
refining, pharmaceutical, and pulp and paper making processes. From our
early beginnings we have expanded our product line and geographical
reach.
We now
have more than 50 microbial products utilized in
industrial and municipal wastewater treatment, oily water
reclamation and recycling, aquaculture, agriculture, soil remediation,
and drain, trap and sewer line maintenance. We also have an extensive
export business in Europe, Asia, South and Central America.
Over the years, through acquisition and internal development, we have
created a complementary line of wastewater test kits and electronic
instruments capable of monitoring the organic content of wastewaters
and their biodegradability — key parameters of wastewater
system design and operation.
We have established a world-class production facility in Allentown, PA,
monitored and controlled by our ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certification
Program. Our production facility is backed up by a
professionally-staffed biodegradation laboratory that is regularly
retained for contaminated soil and wastewater biodegradation studies
leading to new products and processes.
